The OUS Royal Academy of Economics and Technology. Have we ever discussed this place? https://www.ous.ch/
Yes, but that school had a different name back then. "OUS Royal Academy of Economics and Technology" is the new name of "ABMS - The Open University of Switzerland". Here is the thread: https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?threads/abms-the-open-university-of-switzerland.46333/page-3#post-505591
Yes - I believe they had to change the name because the word "University" is now allowed only for Swiss Federation-approved Universities - no Cantonally-authorized schools (like this one) can use it. Royal Academy? Sounds a (big) bit pretentious to me. Which Royal Family are they referring to? Switzerland doesn't have one. We've had a couple of other threads - like this one: https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?threads/3-universites-1-degree-fake.52648/ It's ASIC accredited and is a candidate for ACBSP accreditation - i.e. it has applied. That's all I have to say.
It seems that school is accredited in Zambia. Universities an colleges in Zambia are accredited by the Zambian "Higher Education Authority". Here is the website: http://www.hea.org.zm/index.php A private university in Zambia needs to be registered with the HEA. That is the Zambian equivalent to RA in the US. There is a pdf with a list of registered Zambian universities on the HEA website, and the University of Africa is number 28 on that list. Here is that file: www.hea.org.zm/index.php/downloads?download=7:gazette-notice-february-2017 However, I'm not sure the University of Africa accepts any students from the US or other developed countries.
Given that the University is is Zambia (Africa) - and clearly gives its address on the site - why are you citing it? We were discussing a SWISS regulation about use of the word University - for SWISS schools. Has Switzerland taken over Zambia?
