Online Study Course: Blackjack

Hello!

I'm waiting for the results of my MBA case study (see other thread) . In the meantime, I enrolled in an accredited online blackjack course. See: https://www.onlinecasinocourses.com/courses/Award-in-Blackjack-Operations. It seemed interesting enough — it's accredited and you even earn ECTS points for it. So, I went for it!

Since I watched my peers play "Leisure suit Larry" as young lad, I like the game (and at 13, I even programmed my own version on a SHARP PC-1350!).

The course is about managing a blackjack operation. While it mentions learning how to detect cheating, it does not mention how to detect and what to do about advantage players. They're a much bigger challenge to blackjack operations than are cheaters.

 

I unboxed it yesterday and did not dig too deep yet,,,

 

Look for terms like "card counting" and "advantage play."
