This cost can be reduced significantly by taking courses at lower cost colleges across the USA and by taking CLEP and DSST exams.

COSC and Excelsior will also except close to 100% of credits earned elswhere.

In addition most USA colleges mentioned by Ted will accept up 75% of credits earned at other colleges.

    Educational!

I always get excited when Mr. Heiks responds to a thread, I know I'll be adding a few schools to my database every time.

One day Ted will find a degree program in Antarctica. :) Thanks for the info Ted, I've stumbled across several of your older posts now in which you listed all sorts of programs. They have been very useful.

Well, not exactly a full-fledged degree program from Antarctica, but worthy of mention ... Many years ago, when I used to receive the California State University Dominguez Hills Extended Education catalog, they offered some travel classes and one of those travel classes was an Antarctic cruise.

I'm curious: what does "bumpity" refer to? I have seen several posters say this lol. Also, to the original poster, my son just enrolled for his BA in History at American Public University. It is RA and has a ton of History courses. Good luck in your search.

No. seriously. "Bumpity" simply means to bump a thread solely to raise it back to the top of the list (presumably so it will not get lost into obscurity).

The real question is why do it. If people were interested, they'd be responding and thus no bumping would be necessary.
