Online Degrees Gaining More Respect

Interesting article posted on the front page of msnbc.com regarding the acceptance (and caveats) about distance learning degrees and there utility.

Well then I suppose it's about time those CEO's that aren't familiar stop judging and start researching...

 

The respect is coming a little bit at a time. I am currently recruiting for an instructional designer position to design online courses and training. In the evaluation criteria that we are using, online or hybrid degrees are actually favored over B&M degrees.

 

Which makes perfect sense, given the venue is to design online courses and training - who better than someone who has earned their degree the non B&M way.

 

My thoughts exactly.
