I'm looking to take a Online College Algebra Class that will transfer to a 4 year university. I need the exams to be non proctored. I have looked into many options but many of them seem to be proctored. Straighterline isn't an option for me because the university doesn't take ACE credits. University of Phoenix is almost $2,000 which I don't want to pay but if I must I will. To bad the FHSU option isn't around anymore :(

Why do you need the exams to be non-proctored?

I work crazy hours currently and I have no time to make the proper arrangements for a proctor for the exams so everything would have to be online/non proctored.

Washington Adventist University offers a non-protectored course in college algebra under their external program (not under their online program). It's from Home Study International, but the credits are awarded by the university. It's a mail order correspondence course. It's hard, even without a proctor.

Only if you do it yourself.

LOL -- It's soooo much work that it would be extremely difficult to cheat this course, unless he hires a math wizard to do it -- and even then, it's going to be time-consuming for the math wizard. $$$

OK, I trust your judgement in such matters.

I think the Excelsior College courses might be non-proctored. Everything is done online.

You're sooo busy that you don't have 10 minutes to set up a proctor at your local public library?

From my own online learning journeys, and reading those of others, I was under the impression that many (perhaps most) regionally accredited online programs don't require proctors.

I suppose ProctorU.com won't be of help because of the 11:45pm CST cutoff.
