Looking for..........Masters level degree MS or MBA with concentration. That would be an excellent precursor to non profit work. i.e. March of Dimes...Red Cross..Kidney foundation... Anyone know of a highly regarded degree in this field? Oh yeah duh, it must be almost fully DL, a few short residencies are ok.
Capella University has MS and PhD programs with a specialization in Management of Non-Profit Agencies, in their School of Human Services. http://www.capella.edu/aspscripts/schools/humanserv/mang_np_list.asp Toonces
There are two schools that I know of that have Masters degree programs in non-profit management (specifically). They are Hope International University and Regis University. BTW, both programs are 100% non-residential DL. Jack
California State University Dominguez Hill has both a MBA and MPA that are totally distance learning - I believe they can be completed on line -- and -- the price is very reasonable. I have a couple of friends who have completed degrees at CSUDH and both were very happy with their experience.
