So similar! http://www.trinityeducation.com/about.htm http://tcu.freeservers.com/about.htm but note the difference in where to send the "registration" fee: http://www.trinityeducation.com/registration.htm http://tcu.freeservers.com/registration.htm ------------------ Kristin Evenson Hirst DistanceLearn.About.com
Kristin, I believe the answer can be found on the first site you list, on a different page: http://www.trinityeducation.com/agents.htm The billing contact listed for the domain registration is Dr. Anthony Peel-Bayley, which means this is just another manifestation of U.K. Trinity C&U. Peel-Bayley has had a previous run-in with the Spanish advertising standards authorities and it seems unlikely that the mill has any physical presence in Spain. There is a pornographic video service run by "Katy" that uses the same address. ------------------ Bill Gossett
Bill, That's a possibility -- but I wonder how Trinity could be sure that its agent would actually pass along the money. The freeservers registration page lists the information needed, "along with payment, to provide you with your College Degree" -- states that payment must be in cash or money order, with money orders made out to a "Dr. Vince Ballew" -- and sent to an address in Michigan (not the address in Spain shown on the trinityeducation.com site.) The prices are different -- just a tad higher on the freeservers site (which might argue for this being the site of an agent who keeps a cut). ------------------ Kristin Evenson Hirst DistanceLearn.About.com
As to that, I don't know. One can envision a "Nicky Santoro" shaking down the agents twice a year, or the Michigan address may be nothing more than a mail forwarding address similar to Earlscroft's "campus" in London. ------------------ Bill Gossett
And if you choose to get "The Degree You Deserve" from TC&U, you will undoubtedly want the appropriate graduate supplies - ring, cap, and gown. What a stroke of luck that someone supplies those: http://www.brownsgrad.com/
What better way to showcase one's worthless TC&U diploma than graduation pictures with all of the regalia? This must be easier for Trinity than renting the back room at Wyatts in Sioux Falls once a year. Someone might want to see the mailbox. This is almost as funny as last summer's alumni cruise on the QEII. ------------------ Bill Gossett
