    Hunh. Censorship based on alleged expertise rather than objectionable content? Perhaps that's because the CCP already enforces censorship of political views?

    :) Yes, misinformation is definitely a problem, no matter where it comes from. What worries me is how we balance accountability with freedom.
    Total control, like what China’s doing, stifles open discussion.
    I’m just thinking out loud about where we draw the line. Too much control kills free speech, too little control and democracy eats itself.
    Complete lack of standards also risks chaos and manipulation.
    Democracy seems to rely on an informed public — and that’s hard to maintain when anyone can spread falsehoods unchecked.

    At least more often now, I check the unverified site's claims/facts. Unless I post humor etc.
