Just saw this new program. Even if it's a propio, it's from a legit & respected public university. Their postgraduate diplomas are priced well and they even include a face-to-face residency (I think it's optional). Master's Degree in Innovation Economics, Management and Technology Price: €2,400 https://www3.uah.es/innovation_master/?page_id=1917&lang=en Postgraduate Diploma in Business Innovation Price: €1,350 https://www3.uah.es/innovation_master/?page_id=1932&lang=en Postgraduate Diploma in Public Innovation Price: €870
Interesting find! But since they emphasize that this is an "Online Master´s", I do wonder what the diploma proper looks like. Does it say "online" anywhere?
Thanks for this post. Is it in English? I can't find any information about the language this program is conducted in.
It's worth contacting them to be sure if interested, but I highly doubt it. I remember a time where some schools used to do that, probably more than I realize. I guess enough people complained over the years that schools dropped it as it's not something I've seen in a long time. My question would be, are any of these programs delivered in English? If not, there are some workarounds, but they're not ideal for everyone.
Good question on the language of instruction. I googled it and some databases say "Language: English, Spanish". Don't know if that means you can do one or the other or if it's both. If any of you are able to find out, please update us on this thread. Thanks!
Ask and you shall receive LOL. Here are answers I got from Alcala: 1) Is the program in English or Spanish? I only speak English. You don´t have to worry of this as the master in totally in english, all clases homeworks and activities are 100% in english. 2) What time are classes scheduled? I am wondering if the classes are done in real time or are recorded for international participants. The English version of our master is designed for people like you, in this sense, you will be able to access our content, classes, exhibitions and activities 24 hours a day and you will be able to design your study schedules in the way that is best for you . In the same way, you can also coordinate tutorials in real time with our director when you wish, the latter must be done in advance. Looks like the program is very flexible.
Alcala has one of the most beautiful campuses I've ever seen. I asked them to show me the syllabus since I'm curious. Still waiting on that. With regards to it being in English. They say it is, but I'm not still not sure.
That's a disrespectful response Rich. Pointing to a Spanish person's english skills is offensive in mind. That's pretty close to racism Rich. You need to be careful and respect other people's cultures. I did my part and emailed Alcala to help the posters here and all you can do is post a disrespectful reply. Tsk, tsk.
No, it isn't. But you're persistent attacks on me are. But that's your character you're putting on the line, so enjoy. If you knew anything about this subject, you'd realize that materials--and these days that means websites--with poor English usage by a school purporting to conduct academic programs in that language is a sign of a substandard operation, even a degree mill.
Is this a degree mill? Seriously Rich, you're getting desperate. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Alcal%C3%A1 I am pretty sure you won't be having friends in Spain once they google your name and find this thread. You are attacking one of Spain's historical institutions. Good luck.
Of course, I didn't say it was. I said it was typical of substandard institutions, even degree mills. I didn't attack the school. I noted its poor usage of English when it purports to deliver instruction in that language. I notice you didn't actually address the point. Hope that clarifies it!
For a propio? Really not that abnormally cheap. But from a higher quality institution than some others we’ve seen that were cheaper.
