I take the Natural Science CLEP on Tuesday. This will be my third CLEP. I've been using a variety of sources to study for the last 3 weeks and taking the practice tests in the REA book.

My score on the first REA practice test was 77/120, 88/120 on the second, and 78/120 on the third. Is the actual test more difficult than the REA tests or am I ready? I plan on taking the practice exam in the official study guide tomorrow.

I find the biology questions to be a bit on the easy side, which is surprising to me because I've always hated biology.

Also, there are no balancing equations questions in the REA guide. However, I'm pretty sure that the actual exam has these types of questions. So is the REA guide really a good representation of what's on the test?

    Any input would be appreciated.

I've used the REA guide for the GRE, and found that the REA exam was more difficult than the real thing. Not sure if same thing applies to their CLEP guides however.

How did you do on Natural Science?

I plan to take that one in May. I have a lot of Chemistry backround, but Bio is not my favorite. I have the new REA book for Natural science and an old AP Biology prep. That will be my last credits for my degree and I am getting nervous. I have a tough ECE exam this month so I will not have as much Prep for the science as I would like. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I took this exam nearly ten months ago (someone decided to bump my old thread for some reason). I passed with a 59, but I don't remember much of what was on the exam. My weak spot was chemistry, which I didn't study at all. If I were you, I'd focus almost entirely on biology because it constitutes about 50% of the exam.

    Good luck.
