    My TAMU-C MBA Experience

Access to professors via email and phone was everything I had hoped for. Between the two programs--MBA and MS--all of my professors were active researchers. Drs. Parnell, Humphreys (really a nice guy and provided a recommendation for my Grenoble application), and Pryor are great facilitators.

There were a few semesters where one class was on my plate (winter session, summer sessions) and as many as three (regular and full semester). Yes, the papers "came at me fast and furious"! On the low end 25 pages, and on the high end some papers required a minimum of 35 pages. (Using Endnote and Procite made writing papers so much easier for me.) Some classes required multiple papers.

The University of Texas and Texas A & M Commerce were my final two choices. It could have gone either way. AACSB accreditation was important, but also I knew that I wanted to be close enough to be able to drive to the graduate school from time to time. TAMU-C is about a six hour drive away.

I was really impressed with the program being a Texas A & M system member program. I was also impressed with the quality of student paper requirements, and the businesses statistics course.

    Hope this helps.
