Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I am no longer active duty - er, haven't been for 20 years. Otherwise, I would look at their program. I have heard a lot of positive things on this forum about OSU's MBA program.
Man, oh, man. 22 Masters! I was relieved to see at least one Doctorate. "one bachelor's degree, two associate's degrees, 22 master's, three specialist degrees, and one doctoral degree." Makes me feel like a slacker, 1 BA and 1 MPA.
Perhaps instead of an MBA, a Masters in either Non-Profit Management or Organization Leadership/Leadershp/Management may serve you better, especially since the vast majority of Churches are 501(c)(3) or are looking for leadership/management skills from the Senior and/or Executive Pastor?
Thanks to Amazon "Look Inside" I found this line in the book: "The finance professor that you'll be able to hold your own with is named Terry Goodglenn. Not sure if he was in a motorcycle wreck or something, but you will definitely be blowin' this guy away." This seems right up my alley in terms of sense of humor!
Well, they actually have an MBA with a cognate in Leadership that is geared toward non-profit, so it is a pretty decent fit. If I am going to pursue a Master's in Leadership, I think I would choose the MBA over the MA.
