I am looking for a masters degree in business but here is the hitch. TOTAL COST CAN NOT BE HIGHER THEN $3500.

And it must be done within 2 years.

Also it must be completly DL no redidence possible due to other obligations.

Anybody can give me some pointers or am i on a mission impossible.

The degree can be general, but must include some accounting courses

  2. I think it's impossible for a Regionally Accredited degree - $3500 (including books and other fees) is really low. Maybe someone can chime in about a DETC degree or another option.

Is there a reason why your price point is so low? Can you qualify for any sort of financial aid which would boost up the number?

    Cheers,
    Mark

The least expensive is Cameron University in OK. But the cost is only so if you are a resident of Oklahoma. Otherwise it is still a bargain but outside your parameters.

You can also look under masters programs at

    or

Go to www.geteducated.com and download the guide.

One of the least expensive DL business programs available is through Amberton University. However, at $200 a credit, you are still looking at $7200.

    Close enough?

I think the closest you'll find that's regionally accredited in the U.S. is an MLS in Organizational Leadership from Fort Hays States University, and for tuition and fees that's going to be $5,084 ($164 x 31 credit hours).

FYI: They have student loans for those in graduate programs, and as long as you haven't defaulted on any federal student loans you can get them even if you have bad credit.

I would have to agree that there are no RA or DETC options that meet these criteria. If you are willing to look at GAAP options, there are a few South African programs that may meet your needs (no undergraduate business courses needed):

Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA) MBA
    http://www.mancosa.co.za/programmes/mba.htm

    Potchefstroom Business School MBA Telematic
    http://www.puk.ac.za/tls/Programme/MBA.htm

If you have sufficient undergraduate courses in business, you may also want to consider the postgraduate programs from the University of South Africa:

    Good luck!
