Had a question from someone who completed 15 hours in a MS Adult Education in the mid 1990's. He wanted to return to the program but was told he would have to restart the program and retake the classes. Do any of you know where the credit would be recognized, toward the completion of a Masters in Adult Education (was earned in a Regional Accredited State University program)? (typical needs, accredited, won't break the bank and distant education offering). Thanks, Randy Kearns
I'm going from memory here, but I believe that the M.Ed. in Adult Education offered by The Pennsylvania State University will accept transfer credit. I can't recall how much, but it's a starting point for an excellent program from a great school. Bruce
I would suppose that virtually any of the Australian universities will give some credit (advanced standing) based on prior academic work/experience. I suggest that s/he navigates the Australian universities' faculty of education websites. Immediately that come to mind are: Northern Territory University, Uni of Tasmania, and Uni of New England. I recommend the latter two. My experience with them has been phenomenally good.
