That's in most of the world. And in Democrat controlled parts of the US, like New York, that gets you elected, not imprisoned.

With the company he kept, I would not be surprised to learn that he was paid in gold (a piece of the famous Golden Loaf perhaps), (looted) antique Holy Icons, tankers of off-the-books oil in remote ports, and trainloads of alcohol and used cars seized by the (corrupt) customs officers. Most of these items were used to bribe the country's president forpetessake. It's a f#cking Wild West man.

Yeah, I can't wait until his ass in indicted. He's gotta be sweating right now. Mueller isn't f#cking around. He'll get him for something. His ass needs to be "locked up". The guy is dirty, to put in mildly. I think he just took a job with a foreign government that the U.S. is opposed to. Boy, that guy sure like to do business with foreign governments. I wonder why?

Ah, leaks happen everyday, regardless of what party is in power. I could give a shite about who leaked what. Trump should be more worried about the leakers in the WH. The tend to "leak" a lot. He he!

Long article here on Manafort and people he is associated - or said to be associated with. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-07-25/behind-manafort-s-loans-chopper-pilot-who-flew-into-trump-orbit

Strange - that loan with Manafort's Brooklyn brownstone as collateral was for 6.5 million. I read somewhere the house has a max. value of about $4 million. How'd he swing that? Article here:

Chicago bank tangled up in intrigue over ex-Trump aide Manafort - Chicago Tribune

Manafort, Trump, Yanukovych, Oleg Deripaska ... and Stephen Calk. Yeah, this is getting interesting. I love big-money stories...

They don't get much bigger than the Clinton Foundation. How about those foreign donations that dried up when she lost the election?

Holy crap! THAT one needs its own thread... I mean forum! Besides, the book has been out for a while: Clinton Cash - Peter Schweizer. https://www.amazon.ca/Clinton-Cash-Foreign-Governments-Businesses/dp/0062369296

No book on Manafort is out ...yet. Give it a few weeks, couple of months maybe... Could be a nice, lucrative writing project for an eloquent, impassioned fellow like our Stanislav, maybe... he knows the territory.

...an article relevant to this thread... by what, containing Chelsea's name? Ok, how about Kushner's family peddling Green Cards to Chinese investors?
Visas for Sale: Willful Ignorance in the D.C. Swamp

Mysteriously, much-maligned EB5 category is the one immigration program Trump didn't complain about. Despite literally being "visas for cash" and the bullshit process used to draw boundaries of many "special investment zones".

Yes - I find such scams very interesting, especially when a former Tibetan monk goes to jail... https://cis.org/North/Its-About-Time-Two-EB5-Fraudsters-Are-Sent-Jail?utm_source=E-mail+Updates&utm_campaign=4841139218-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2017_08_21&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_7dc4c5d977-4841139218-44691121
