    Residency

I had the same question and started a thread about it on another forum. I spent all last week going state by state looking for either public schools, or schools with a B&M campus that offered distance degrees, yet were not one of the large distance learning for profits.

What I found was that most states have now regulated the minimum amount of in-resident or transfer units for public schools. So right there they are out of the running. Most private non-profit/ not for profits (think USC or Stanford) follow the guidelines set by the public schools. The only true deviation that I found was where a college would have a transfer program agreement with another college or a community college system. Where if you follow this specific articulation agreement we will guarantee admissions and you only need to take these remaining courses.

But that wouldn't work for you unless you were in those programs already, wanted to take all the courses again, or both.

So yes 30-33 is going to be the standard and I have only found one or two who will accept around 24 units in-residency.

Its a bummer I know because It would be nice to have options in the 15-20 unit residency range. But they just are not out there for the typical student.

:hmmm: It's not a record but might easily be in the top 10.
