I am nearing the end of my current studies :D ... so I am preparing for the next program... I am looking for someone who is doing the online M.A. in Ministry program at Indiana Wesleyan University...

    I'm looking for information on...

How intense are the classes... are the assignments "graduate-level appropriate" or are they "less-than-graduate-level busywork?"

What types of learning activities are there?

How are grades determined (via evaluations of what kind of student work)? Are there proctored exams? Midterm, finals? Do they do quizzes? Are they true-false and multiple choice or essay? What about research papers? How many? How long? What style of writing do they use (not that this makes too much difference - just curious)?

(I am trying to determine the workload so I can figure out the typical "how to juggle family, work, and school..." I'm also trying to avoid programs that don't measure up to commonly expected graduate standards...)

I've seen discussions on this forum about nightmares with the administration... staff responsiveness to problems, etc. How does IWU rate?

Any information is good information. I've never had an on-line class so this is going to be an experience!

Additionally I have no previous studies in this area so I will probably be conditional admitted until I complete the program prerequisites...

I'm also considering alternate programs... Grace Theological Seminary's M.Min. program and Liberty Theological Seminary's M.A.R. program.
