I haven't been on here in awhile but I'm still looking for a doctorate program in the educational or psychology field that would be interesting to me. I still haven't found anything that really interests me enough to pursue it. I'm finishing up my Masters in Elementary Ed and I have an undergrad degree in Psychology. I'd really love to find a 100 percent online accredited program in Early Childhood Development or something to that effect. Something with an angle towards child development, developmental psychology or something in that vain.

Also I'm interested in possibly teaching online at Rio Salado or one of the other schools that hire individuals with master's degrees. Anyone had any good luck getting work teaching online? I'd really like to do this if I can carve out in a niche. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Have you checked out Touro University International's PhD in Educational Leadership? One of the available concentrations is K-12 Education Leadership and I bet you could do your dissertation on Early Childhood Development. TUI's College of Education meets your requirement for a "100 percent online accredited program." It's certainly one option to consider.

Take a look at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for a PhD in Education degree program.

Wow Touro isn't cheap, huh? 2 grand a class. Is that more expensive than others? Yikes. Is it worth it though? Is it a good school? Is the format like UOP? I really like the format at UOP and I prefer to stick with that kind of format. I see Touro is getting popular b/c they said they reached their limit for capacity and it's getting more competitive. Better get that app in. I wonder if I can apply prior to finishing my masters.
