I don't know where you're located so I'm listing only the programs described as being 100% non-residential. I'm sure it's an imperfect list and so hopefully others will make additions/subtractions.
    U of Kent
    U of Melbourne
    U of New England
    U of Northern Iowa
UNISA (without doubt the lowest in price)
    U of Teesside
    U of Wales-Lampeter
    Good luck,
    Jack

If you don't mind the degree being "Humanities" you can cluster most of your credits in English at CSU Dominguez Hills. That's what I have done. I just finished the degree this summer. I took 18 semester hours in English course work. That seems to be the minimum to teach at community college with an M.A. Hope this helps. Humanities External Degree

The University of West Alabama has a Masters in Teaching in which you can take 18 hours of English --- if you need the minimum to teach the subject.

I am taking Psychology there and the customer service and professors are top of the line. The price is about 900 per 3 sh course.

Hi - there is an "h" where a "u" should be in the url - it is csudh.edu - try that and you will find the information.
