There might be a lot of in house cleaning after this. Gracious.

To preface this comment, let me say that I have no connection to Liberty: I am unpersuaded that fining students for violating a student code (e.g., for binge drinking) is tantamount to punishment for being sexually assaulted. Moreover, given that Liberty wasn't invited to comment on the relevant issues, I personally will suspend judgment on these allegations. The underlying consent-ethic that permeates this article is a forgone conclusion, whereas orthodox Christianity's millennia old moral standards are described pejoratively as "purity culture." Moreover, the 'me-too' presupposition that anyone who claims to have been abused must be necessarily and unquestionably believed is unhelpful, unrealistic, and out of step with our legal codes.

They do address that in the article, that Liberty refused to comment - save one staffer, who alleges he was fired for raising the alarm internally.

    I stand corrected.
