Lancaster Bible College offers a number of degrees online, including Criminal Justice, Healthcare Management, Marketing, and Sports Management (plus more religious degrees). https://www.lbc.edu/adult-education/academic-programs/ They are RA through MSCHE. https://www.lbc.edu/about/accreditation/

Undergrad tuition is $440/credit for part time or $375/credit for full time. https://www.lbc.edu/adult-education/financial-aid/

As far as I can tell, they will accept up to 90 credits in transfer. This includes up to 30 credits in PLAs (self-study, non-credit, work experience) and an unknown number of credits from CLEP, AP, and DSST exams. https://www.lbc.edu/adult-education/admissions-process/ According to this handbook I found, they may also accept ACE credit (at least from SL): https://www.lbc.edu/wp-content/uploads/2...ndbook.pdf

Students taking the free courses at https://study.bible/lancaster can get up to 6 credits at no cost. They also get the application fee waived.

Assuming maximum transfer, that would make one of their undergrad degrees somewhere around $12-13k total. Not the cheapest, but not the worst price ever either. I think it could make them marginally cheaper than Liberty, if planned correctly.

They also have a bunch of Master's degrees online: https://www.lbc.edu/capital/academics/ The number of credits that can be transferred in depends on the degree. The religious degrees accept up to 50% credit transfer, the non-religious degrees I've looked at allow 0-16 credits in transfer. This may be up to 30% of the degree.

    Master's degrees are $455/credit for full-time and $535/credit for part-time. https://www.lbc.edu/capital/financial-aid/

Assuming a 40-credit Master's, that puts them at $18-$22k, depending on full or part time. That doesn't count any potential transfer credits.

The approximately 70-credit MDiv would be around $32-$38k. Price-wise, almost certainly better to go to Kairos for that one.

I’m cool with the study of religion. But I’m not cool if religion interferes with study. Not that it’s going on here. Just sayin’….

Same. I have no idea what the content of the non-religious classes is for LBC. At worst, it's maybe similar to Liberty and can at least be an alternative to LU for those who don't want the potential baggage of the bad press that Liberty's had.

My experience is that employers typically care less about where you got your degree and more about your relevant career experience. For example, I am a former law enforcement officer, juvenile justice professional, high school teacher, adjunct, and TT assist professor. I have published three peer-reviewed articles and actively working on a new project. Prospective employers hardly had to consider the source of my Ph.D. because my experience demonstrated that I excelled at teaching, service, advising, and research.

Anyway, that's only been my experience. I can't say if others have had a negative experience based on their Liberty degree.

I wouldn't sweat the Liberty rep too much. But I WOULD be bothered by having to inject religion into my work. I agree with Chris that most employers don't know and don't care.

(Of course, this is the exact root cause of diploma mills as well.)
