What is the fastest way to get the JD or Law Degree and be able to take the bar exam in CA? I currently have a bachelors degree. Thank you.
Go to an ABA-accredited law school like Southwestern (in Los Angeles) with an accelerated two-year JD program. An ABA-accredited JD degree is normally three years, but a few schools have programs that cram three years of coursework into just two years. You have to take classes during the summer. California, unlike most states, allows graduates of non-ABA-accredited law schools to take the Bar Exam. But I don't think any of those can be completed in two years. For online law schools, California requires a minimum of four years of study.
Scale, 2 year JD... Ok I think the choice is clear by now, I am not getting any younger. Any thoughts on this 2 year JD program? Southwestern Law School — Two-year JD: SCALE®
I can't comment on this particular program but I can comment on 2 year programs in general. I did the 2 year program at my school. All I can say is "Wow". You will definitely have to work. Morning, noon, and night really. It is doable.
