Something called "Vostok Services" offers to hook its customers up with Knightsbridge to obtain academica credentials, presumably to support their immigration efforts.

Link to KU page on Vostok's website

I note that a bachelor's degree can be had for an 8,000-word paper.

Interesting that a Russian company would use a fake Danish university to help its customers get into New Zealand. Knightsbridge....New Zealand....hmmm........

Oh, and this little nugget where an anonymous "expert" claims to have been awarded "...an N.D. by Published Work, by Knightsbridge University, for his accomplishments in holistic health, dieting, nutrition, resistance training, yoga, meditation, etc."

"Etcetera" indeed. The person also claims a master's and Ph.D. from Greenwich University.

I didn't realize Knightsbridge awarded medically related degrees without even a teaching component.

Here's someone who says he/she received a job application from someone with an MBA from Knightsbridge, and who received a doctorate from Knightsbridge only 4 months later.

Dennis Ruhl, Neil Hayes, and James Cobb consistently tell a lie about me getting a Ph.D. in 8 months. Looks like Knightsbridge has cut that record in half....

Here's someone claiming that getting "with honors" appended to your Knightsbridge bachelor's can be obtained for a fee. Also, the writer claims Knightsbridge offers franchises.

Knightsbridge's Eugene de Silva pops up here:

    Link

This is a school in Virginia. The listing for de Silva says he received a doctorate from a Danish univeristy. What do you want to be it is Knightsbridge? (It also says he claims one from the U.K., but in neither case does the listing provide the issuing schools.)

We (Gus Sainz also looked at this guy once) can't seem to determine these simple facts about someone who is so touted!

This Russians I tell you :)

By the way the translation to English Vostok = East.

Now this is very typical dealing in immigrant communities and not only Russian.
Wile I'm not supporting any bogus schools etc, Just like with mills some people know exactly what they do and why wile others are ignorant about recognition issues and don't have access to internet or other available resources to validate this things. Yes a call to Danish embassy may help.

I wonder if this business run by an attorney that is trying to make extra buk by bending or exploding legal loopholes.

I don't know match about the Knitbridge but this smells bad and implicates them in unethical posibly criminal practices.

Hi Bill - I've made some inquiries on your behalf and they told me that they're out of Etcetera but they could get you a PhD in Miscellaneous by Thursday.

Now about that credit card number . . .
    ;)

Knightsbridge AND New Zealand AND fraud

Hmmm indeed ... what an unusual combination. Are there any brown teal ducks involved?

    What???

The only part of Lerner's post that I believe is his reference to "smells bad." He has to be purposely misspelling "Knightsbridge" as it is both written and linked in the previous post.

BTW, I thought that Lerner had been banned from DI for his involvement in this fine thread.

I'm not trying to instigate anything. I had been under the erroneous but certainly understandable impression that you had been banned but now know otherwise. As far as me being wrong, I'm not sure what you think I'm wrong about. Am I wrong about the inconsistencies, contradictions, distortions and ... yes, lies contained in some of your posts? They have been documented here for quite some time but to no avail. If anything, I believe that your posts have become even more disingenuous.

    I quote you below:

What??? I don't even know what you are trying to get at ... visa fraud in immigrant communities, or unaccredited schools, ... or lack of universal access to the Internet, corrupt attorneys or WHAT??? It is maddening to even try to guess to whom or what you are referring.

I'm not sure of your actual agenda in the context of DL but would like to suggest that you reconsider your online "Lerner" persona. As I read your posts I'm reminded of the Russian comedian Yakov Smirnoff who was something of a novelty around 25 years ago when he arrived from Russia. His act quickly played out but that hasn't stopped him from continuing to use the heavy (and phony) Russian accent for comedic value. He has a reason, as ridiculous as it may be, for continuing to act like he barely speaks English while you don't.

My impression is that you are about as Russian as the Honorable Dr. Rev. Bishop Swift Eagle Justice of the "Holy Orthodox Church of All Russia." The members at DI (at least this one) don't find the "Lerner" act amusing, funny, clever or anything other than tedious. Why don't you start off by 1) contacting a moderator and going with either "Lerner" or "Learner", 2) eliminate the rambling posts full of misspellings and malapropisms, and 3) comport yourself like an adult from this point forward?

Does Knightsbridge still claim to be Danish even after the Danish government said that it can't legally issue degrees? I'm surprised that anyone would think it is real when it is an obvious degree mill.

It really needs a new name. Knightsump? Nightshade? Me Fyrst U?

Knavesbridge is perfect, it covers so much. I also thought of Knightsbilge but I like Knavesbridge better.

Yes, it still claims to be Danish. In one sense it is, since the owner lives in Denmark and operates it from his house.

It is "Danish." But it is not a "university." Therefore, it is not a Danish university.
