To whom is this directed? No one else in this thread spelled it that way. And what, exactly, are you calling "commentary"?

I believe you misunderstood Uncle Janko's wit. I believe he was commentating on the product of a K-W education continually misspelling simple words, even after he was made aware of the fact, and also repeating it like a mantra that proved everything was legit. RJT was the infamous perpetrator if I remember. :D

P.S. Or, your statement may have been sarcastic. If so, I apologize for the lengthy description.

P.S.S. How close are you in your educational pursuit? We all wish you well and are looking forward to your sharing of your research.

    Regards

Thanks, Tony. I didn't read it as sarcasm, but I wasn't sure either way. That's why I asked questions.

My program goes well. I hope to finish in early Spring (shooting for the end of March), but these things get complicated towards the end. As for sharing the results of my research, we'll see. That might take place in another medium.

This is not acceptable, Rich. As the senior poster on DegreeInfo you are indebted to your peers, which means sharing your DL research. You must be willing to settle the issue once and for all--what is the utility of a CCU degree? ;)

The same as it always was.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the research portion of your Ph.D. dealing with the acceptance level of unaccredited degrees?

Yes, it is. But the facts won't change; they're what they've always been. Which is what I said.

If the facts are unchanged and as they have always been, then what "contribution" has the Ph.D. research made to the current body of knowledge?

What is known anecdotally can now be known quantitatively. (If things work out that way.)

Also, there is more to these things than CCU.

    Rich,

I'm aware of which you speak, and was only kidding about the "contribution to the current body of knowledge."

Could you e-mail me please, I'd like to ask you something?

    Thanks,

    Richard,

Donald Breslow is no longer involved with Century university. Century operates 100% from New Mexico. There may have been a time only a few years ago where Breslow had some control and lived in California. This is no longer the case.

I will correct you ever time on this subject. Century can no longer be used as a correct example of the California matter.

Dr. Colleen, can you explain, then, why the New Mexico state records, as of this very morning, show that the only two officers of Century University Inc. are:

    President: Donald Breslow
    Secretary: Marcella Breslow (his wife)

And the one and only Director is: Donald Breslow

    http://www.nmprc.state.nm.us/cgi-bin/nmprc/prcdtl.cgi?1462910+

Further, Breslow is listed #1 (in a non-alphabetical list) on the current Century Educational Board of Governors.

In other words, he owns the damn place, and is #1 on the Board of Governors. That sounds a wee bit like involvement to me.

    Colleen:

    What he (Bear) said.

Unless, of course, you're an agent of the university and can speak on their behalf. (And, thus, belie the information New Mexico and Century provide.)

    Re: California

Very interesting, it must be a very recent change. The last time Century was discussed in this thread was last August and at that time I understood you to say that Donald Breslow was still the owner. Please elaborate on why and when this interesting change occurred.

You may want to respond by starting a new thread. I believe that this bit of news may deserve it.

    Thanks,
    Bill
