Welcome back, Dick. I'm very pleased to see your return.

To the general population that may not be aware of Dick's previous posts. Dick's posts are always delightful and very frequently informative. I very much enjoy hearing his opinion on things especially when they don't agree with my own. ;)

  3. Curious silence

Curiously silent due to lack of information. I would rather be silent than speculate.

After reading this entire thread from top to bottom, I can only say, "Wow." The Degreeinfo infighting is uninteresting, but the initial posts caught my attention.

Thanks. Seeing K-W at the conference was an interesting experience for me and I was hoping that it would be of interest to others on Degreeinfo.

Dick: What is the address of your website? UoP's site is not intuitive with regards to accessing such information.

How many times can you beat the dead horse KWU?

Apparently , if it's KWU; forever.

KW is making an AWFUL lot of money to be considered a "dead horse"!

  8. Tony, Sorry but you cannot access "My Faculty" website which was refered to. It is on a server closed to public access. It is for student and other instructors access only. My "profile" is not for public access either. It is supposed to be accessed by only UoP full time staff and myself.

    $

    Nos:

YES, KwU is making lots of money; but none of us are spending it.
Everyone knows that KwU is not accredited....if it has 30 PhD on its Comissions or it has the best technology or it has the endoresment of the Pope or John Bear says its better than Harvard or whatever.............its UN ACCREDITED.

This is the DEAD HORSE; the horse is dead, good horse, fast horse, expensive horse, pure blood horse, royal horse.....it's DEAD.

    :p

Remarkable. Well, you purchased access to a link that was good for 72 hours. It was posted on the internet by Peter. Since it was sold to you, and you were responsible for not violating the purchase agreement, and my copyright, it would seem reasonable that you would know how it left your possession and ended up in someone else's. No speculation required there.

It is my opinion that, unless the facts are substantially different than I've described them, the episode (which coincided with your long silence on this board) should be weighed by those who consider your statements about other matters.

Hopefully Dick has fast access to a fire extinguisher as it seems that his trousers are ablaze.

And is still misleading too many people to be ignored.

Perhaps his tongue is as long as a telephone wire, instead? :)

Oh, no. No flames. But I wanted the record straight. And seeing that his only response is a non-response, I guess we can accept the fact that he illegitimately transferred my property rights to someone else, hardly the behavior of a scholar. (That is the extent of my flame, right there.) Again, relevant since he has offered his observations about K-WU. It falls under the category of "Consider the Source."

Actually, I think Jack's was a "liar, liar, pants on fire" reference... but your point is, nevertheless, well-taken.

Thank you Gregg. You understood me correctly.
Rich, sorry for the misunderstanding. I did not see any of your comments as being flames.

No, no. My bad. Sometimes I'm kinda dense. For example, I understand Uncle Janko only about half the time.:)

I'm going to you for my Uncle translations then!

(Just kidding Uncle, I have a hard time passing up the chance to make a little joke.)

Actually, many apologists/promoters of K-W have posted on Degreeinfo. Some have spent money for their degrees. Many other new posters and "lurkers" visit Degreeinfo without a knowledge of the background, practices or accreditation status of K-W. They just see the myriad of advertisements on the Internet and in magazines and newspapers, where K-W is featured alongside accredited colleges and universities.

Keeping the dialogue going (especially when there are new developments, such as K-W presentations at national professional conferences) is what Degreeinfo is all about.

Everyone knows that KwU is not accredited....

No..not everybody. However, thanks to the efforts of many of the folks here, a lot more people are coming to this knowledge.

if it has 30 PhD on its Comissions or it has the best technology or it has the endoresment of the Pope or John Bear says its better than Harvard or whatever.............its UN ACCREDITED.

    I couldn't agree more.

I disagree. As long as people have questions regarding the legitimacy and viability of degrees given by this institution remain, the horse will still be alive. If the institution dies, due to lack of enrollment, the horse will die as well.

    My humble opinion.
