    Ironically, the Ph.D. in Law, Policy, and Society at Northeastern was about half the cost of the D.L.P. program when I looked.

    Is it an on-campus program? Probably will be fully funded for admitted students. There is a Ph.D. in Psychology, Public Policy, and Law at Alliant International University. I looked at the curriculum, and I actually liked it. Pity I already have a Ph.D. lol :D

    On-campus with some online options, but I think the main difference is the target audience. Someone going for a professional doctorate is likely to be, well, a professional, who can either use corporate tuition assistance or be financially secure enough to self-fund.
