Anyone ever taken courses at iStudySmart.com to prepare CLEP, DANTES, and ECE? How is the experience compared with self-study? Thanks, maggie
I took the one for Intro to Psych. Used it for 2 days. I didn't like it at all. I was under the impression that it would have online notes and and study guide. All I found an assignment outline for a book and a test. Maybe I was expecting to much, but if I am going to shell out some money for something like that I would expect something a little more guided. If you need practice exams it is pretty good (had over 200 questions, if I remember correctly, for the Psych exam). Best Regards, Bill
This is not about CLEP or DANTES or ECE except possibly in some limited areas like accounting. Mostly computer stuff. I've been looking at Freeskills.com. The "free" is for some tutorials some of which are taken from their training courses. This from their website about the training courses: " An annual membership costs just $99 (other currencies available) and grants you full access to each and every training course within the 12 full months of your subscription. There are no additional fees to pay and no hidden costs. You can study what you choose, at a pace that suits you." Haven't yet tried it but the price is certainly right.
