I am thinking of taking the B.Sc. in Islamic Economics, Banking and Finance (B.Sc. IBE) but wondering if it is truly accredited?
They claim to have accreditation from Somalia and Guinea's education departments. Can't go wrong there! :scratchchin:
I can't put my finger on it this second but I know there are one or two RA programs in that subject area.
Why not take a masters in a business field and devote the reasearch and thesis courses to learning about Islamic finance. It is possible you could write papers on the topic for other courses.
Guinea-Bissau, not Guinea. And they're approved in Gambia and Niger as well. It looks like their country of operation has bounced around a little, which is rarely a good sign. But they are recognized at present. As for whether they're any good....
You are correct, as opposed to Guinea-Conakry. And, of course the completely unrelated Papua New Guinea. :moon:
In spite of the accreditation situation, is anyone familiar with Dr. Bilal Philips and his scholarship? Would it be worthwhile to try some of the modules from his "free diploma" program?
