I inquired about meeting the certification requirements via an accredited training center or even an academic partner, and this woman with an American accent who writes in broken English keeps trying to sell me their overpriced training programs and their degree programs. She can't even remember their certification requirements; she told me that I will have to fill out an application to have my information security experience evaluated if I go through an ATC. The whole point of going through an ATC is to avoid the experience requirement and verification process. Over the years, I've heard that the CEH certification has a poor reputation in the cybersecurity community due to EC-Council's plagiarism, poorly-written course materials, and unethical business practices. I have free access to Skillsoft and LinkedIn Learning through my employer, and they both have CEH prep programs.
