In-demand teaching subjects??

I have been trying to get information on which subjects have the most job openings/best outlook, but can not seem to find that information. All of the information I can find refers to secondary teaching subjects, and not college-level teaching subjects.
I am interested in teaching at a community college (or 4-year university), and would prefer B&M over online, but there doesn't seem to be a separate forum for asking about B&M teaching? So I asked it here.
Is there information available as to which subjects are most in demand? I have a variety of interests and passions, but I am also a practical person, and so would like to complete a masters in the area which is most likely to yield job opportunities in this economy. Just to show how varied my interests are/were, my Bachelors degree is in Spanish, with a pre-professional concentration in pre-med, with minors in anthropology and women's studies.
If I'm trying to be ruthlessly honest with myself, I believe I would probably like to teach biology, chemistry, or Spanish a *little* bit more than I would like to teach other subjects such as math, english or any of the social sciences/humanities.
When I look at local job openings, mostly what I find are teaching opportunities for RN's, to teach courses in nursing and allied health fields. Is this the same across the US, or just specific to my region?

    Thank you for any information.

I know there is a poll asking the same type of questions (I may have started it) and accounting and finance were always the top "areas of need". I am sure others will post suggestions. What is your real world experience? Just having a masters degree qualifies you from the "required degree" angle but many positions as for practical experience.

Is there a resource where one could look this info up? My net searches have been fruitless. Outside of local job listings, I wouldn't know where to start and any info would be appreciated. I have wrestled with the idea of getting an MA in Linguistics out of strong interest in the subject, but so far fail to see the financial payoff of doing so. Is there a need for linguistics teachers? (doubt it!) Is there a need for foreign language teachers? (just maybe!) Where can I find out? :)-|)

How about AdjunctNation.com , search for "online" dump it into Excel, use a Pivot Table and see what you can come up with?

I track this in a casual manner, talking to people, listening...

If you're looking to earn your living teaching in higher ed then the only thing I've got to say is . . . don't quit your day job.
