    "Huh?", you query...

I love the idea of a renegade Mexican graduate school awarding world-class degrees based on verified, independent, thought-provoking study.

CCHS was also a renegade, at one point providing the only accredited respiratory therapist program by distance in the US to hard-working folks who couldn't take time off from their jobs to further their education.

Both schools have wonderful people striving to help others achieve personal success through the educational process. And both schools (and associated corporations in particular) have seriously shady and less-than-wonderful characters, highly questionable marketing tactics, and substandard programs and procedures.

As I'm writing this it dawned on me as to what the answer is of whether or not these schools can be considered mills, and that answer is a resounding YES and NO. They both need to clean up their acts by canning or at least restricting the slimy element within their organizations and become the quality institutions they pretend to be.
