It’s time to send my 1990’s Fossil to the grave yard and step up to a better watch. I have been doing some hard looking and came across a brand named Clerc Watches… Clerc Watches
Anyone know anything about them, any feedback?

I don't know anything about these but they look cool. May I suggest you also look at Invicta - Invicta Watch They are really good watches and have a great price range ($200 - $2,000). I just got a Tag for Christmas (my second one) and I love it. It is a great watch and priced about the same as the Clerc - $2-3K

Never heard of them, but I'm a fan. I would hesitate to drop that kind of dough on an unknown (to me) brand, but I gotta admit, they look sexy.

One of the best places to buy a watch is Kohl's if you combine coupons with a sale.

My watch has a 24-hour dial - most people I meet have never seen one. Mine is similar to those shown here

Amazon has just about every brand imaginable... I usually narrow my search down by my likes (e.g. rectangular shaped; leather or rubber strap, etc) and then browse - I have not had an issue finding several watches to my liking.

Personally I like tough. I have owned Seiko dive watches since the 70s (Marine combat diver) and had one that lasted almost that long. For sheer longevity, with minimal maintenance, these things are tough to beat. Look at the new standard SKX 173 or the SKX 007 or any of the variants. If you want to personalize the watch, it is has a cult following and any number of modifications can occur. One of the best known individuals is Bob Thayer: watches bobthayerjr.com I don't do pretty, I do functional, so for me a high end is the Rolex Submariner, no date, stainless.

I don't know anything about the Clercs.

In my opinion, a watch should keep time, not be your prom date.

ESQ is a great watch and made by Movado - ESQ by Movado | Explore ESQ by Movado Collections I have two of them and are really comfortable. Of course this is always a Rolex if you want something that looks great but can not keep accurate time!

You must take a look at Rado - a fine watch and I have seen them for about $500 and up. I even saw one in a pawn shop for $250 - Rado

My mobile phone tells me what time it is, so a watch would be redundant. ;-)

I have a Tissot also and it is nice but the band is not as smooth as others like the ESQ or Tag. Actually, another that I have and love is a RAYMOND WEIL - RAYMOND WEIL Luxury Watches :: Luxury Swiss Watches :: Men & Ladies Swiss Luxury Watches
