The issue is that the Gaza war has gone on for far longer than was really necessary. I've been saying for months that Israel was squandering their reputation. Fair or not fair is not really the issue. The issue is that Israel needs to be more aware of world opinion.

That's also my point, that the bias is saturating the news with one side, the Gaza side, that media and news networks are not showing enough the Israeli suffering to balance the opinions, but instead they under report on Israeli suffering in this conflict.
This is a problem, that Hasbarah needs to work harder to reflect the truth.

Israel needs to do something to improve the way that they appear to the rest of the world. There's no doubt about that. I don't think it is too late for them. For example, it is way too late for the Iranians. If they say something even if it makes sense I assume that they are either lying or trying to mislead me. I don't think Israel suffers that kind of hostility by many people?

I think Israel just did, but in a language that the Middle East understands.
In the Middle East, weak means to be attacked and bullied.
Israel showed that they are strong, and will defend its citizens.
Based on the vote in the UN, on Palestine, its obvious anti-Israel bias will take years if at all to be repaired.

    Day after Houthis claim missile targeted PM’s plane at Ben Gurion Airport, IAF hits Hodeidah, Ras Isa port, where Iran-backed group said to receive arms, oil;
The strike in Yemen on Sunday was more extensive than the one in July. It also came as the IAF had struck targets in Lebanon, the Gaza Strip, and allegedly in Syria during the day, amid a multifront war.
On Saturday, a missile fired by the Houthis at central Israel was shot down without causing injuries. The terror group said it was aimed at Ben Gurion Airport, where Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plane had just landed, bringing him home from New York.

Controversial take, but I think if Israel stopped killing innocent people and negotiated in good faith for a ceasefire that would help their image.

Again, you forgot to mention that Israel is retaliating, not initiating.
Israel is shooting at those who shoot at Israel, but also with attempt to prevent future shooting at Israeli people.
Iran for example prefers that Arabs who Iran considers 2nd rate people do their dirty work.
Do you see Iranian suicide bomber? NO, why bother if they can sacrifice Arabs.
Lebanon should take care of demilitarizing Shia population, there should be only one national Army.
Yemen, should do the same to Houthis, who now caused major difficulties to Yemen people. By shooting at Israel and Israel retaliation, the port is destroyed, terrible for Yemen people, supply of merchandise. Commerce and economy badly affected. But the terrorists such as Hamas, Hezbollah, Huuthis don't care for civilian population.
But we all know that they kill each other, like is Syria.

This might be a fair argument for Lebanon. If you meant Gaza then let's look a bit closer. It's true that October 7 was bad evil and inexcusable. October 7 Hamas killed or captured over 1,400 Israelis. What has happened since then in Gaza? Something over 40,000 deaths in Gaza, almost all buildings have been destroyed, most everyone's private possessions have been destroyed. The approximately 2 million people in Gaza are living like rats right now. In an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth argument this is like an eye for about 40 eyes plus destroying all their homes and possessions. That seems like way exaggerated overkill to me.

Now, please note that I believe Iran's government, religious leadership, Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, etc. are bad and evil as you describe.

I definitely agree. Hopefully we'll find out how much it helps. their image sooner rather than later!

I think there are additional factors about Gaza that need to be understood
The Oct 7th attack is only part of the attack from Gaza, by Hamas and Jihad Islamia.
Thousands of rockets shot at Israeli cities, almost every school, and under residential buldings terror tunnels and rocket lounchers.
Gaza was trafigured to upper and underground fortress.
Every time there is tentions on Temple Mount, Hamas shoot rockets at Israel.
South Israel was victim of Hamas and Jihad Islmia for years.
So Oct 7th was the catalyst for the response and destruction of the underground terror, Hamas batalions, and rocket sites in Gaza.
The work continues, until Israelis in South and North will be able to go back to their homes and safety.
Another chance will be given to Gaza to elect leadership that is not radical, and not used by Iran. The biased media under reporting the efforts of IDF to avoid civilian catualties, actually media is amplifying the false narative of Hamas propoganda.

Over 100 reporters have been killed in Gaza. That is about 10% of the press that is in Gaza. If we look at the total population 40,000/2,000,000 = 2% of the total population is the total death toll. I will guess that the press may be in more dangerous areas than the general population. It also means to me that many innocent people are being killed in the Gaza war. The percentage deaths in Israel is a very small percentage. I hope that Israelis will be able to return home soon. We know for a fact that Gazans will not be returning home for years.

It's only a controversial take because of how much you have to overlook to offer it.

Alright, give me the justification to murder innocent people?

The most controversial thing about his post was probably that neither Israel nor Hamas are negotiating in good faith. But it's probably true that more people know that about Israel than know that about Hamas.

My guess is that Netanyahu is thinking he'd like to keep a force in Gaza for the long term. Which I'll guess is exactly what Hamas is afraid of.

Ill concede to that. On that note, Hamas did agree to multiple ceasefires in the past. One even agreed to free the hostages. Again, one side is infinitely more powerful and funded by my tax payer dollars to bomb brown children. Israel has the power to enforce a ceasefire, Hamas doesnt.

While it's true that many undeserving Palestinians have died in Gaza. The IDF have been doing a much better job in the past couple months of keeping that to a minimum.

P.S., Calling the innocent deaths murder is very controversial.

    Controversial to who? The IDF?

I think what this demonstrates is that Hamas has been much better at getting positive opinions than Israel in this conflict.

The Onion is a joke. I mean seriously the articles are a joke and not true. They are just supposed to be funny.

Another Hamas propaganda. What a nonsense. - Opinion

What counts is that in reality, Hamas IS being destroyed, the people in Gaza need alternate income, because desperate to provide for the family they join Hamas for the salary.
But remaining underground battalions of Hamas are being destroyed. Actually since the border with Egypt Rafiah etc are closed, Hamas is running out of rockets, South Israel is feeling it, as almost no rockets are being shot at them.WHat took 20 years to make will take tiome to destory, tunnels , bunkers, rocket making factories etc.
Hamas is killing their own babies.

It’s a satire article from 2018… Bill explained that to you. It isnt real. It is a joke. Humor.

Hamas is a terrorist organization engaging in terror. Killing of babies is terrorism. Israel is also engaging in killing of babies. Some might say Israel is therefore also engaging in terrorism.

Ask your friends in Hamas, they are the ones who murder innocent people, kidnapped civilians, murdered many.
And calling their parents happy, screaming I killed Jews.
This is their justification, they hate and want to murder Jews. This is what the Hamas education ministry brainwash them from childhood.
    And they hate the West.
They are here, waiting to get more in numbers and stronger. Their political Jihad already in action strongly.
