Do you agree that applies just as much to the billionaire leaders of Hamas who live in luxury in Qatar?

Hamas and Hezbollah are committing war crimes. That too is a fact.

That's true. Israeli settlement policy has been a disaster: needlessly provocative and a constant stumbling block to any progress. It would have been much better had Israeli policymakers made it a priority decades ago to make Gaza and the West Bank someone else's problem. But remember, the territories are occupied in the first place because everyone in the region joined together to try to kill them. And in the meantime, Jordan has disclaimed any interest in the West Bank and Egypt any interest in Gaza.

So let me ask you: what, exactly, would you have Israeli policymakers do now?

Governments like Iran's, NGOs like UNRWA, and experts as in Gibson's Law?

Yes and Yes to your first question and comment. For the next I suggest they stop committing genocide and look at ways to deescalate the situation (treaty, development of a one-state/two state solution, etc.). And to your next question governments like South Africa, NGOs like Amnesty International, and experts like Norman Finkelstein.

Israel is not commiting Genoside, this is another anti Israel lie that Jihadists propogate and poisoned brains of students around the world, by well prepared propoganda machine.
Wow, you bought all the Hamas lies, and repeat them.
    Here they successded.
Syria, Genoside of Arab people by Arab people.
By definition Genoside doesn't apply to Gaza.

Israel could get back to the level of worldwide support that they had prior to October 7 hopefully within a a few months of a ceasefire. If Israel had stopped bombing Gaza after a few weeks then their worldwide support right now would probably be great. Just remember the great worldwide support that went to Israel because of the October 7 attack, which Israel has since squandered. My big concern is Iran, especially the threat of an Iranian nuclear bomb. Unfortunately Trump destroyed the Iran nuclear deal. Just another example of Netanyahu's poor decision making.

Anyway, Israel got some help from some of the countries around them when Iran launched the big missile attack on Israel. So, maybe improving relations with some of Israel's Moslem neighbors is still possible after a ceasefire. Then move quickly to isolate Iran further. Remember Iran is not looked at favorably by many of their Moslem neighbors.

Labeling the situation as genocide remains a matter of legal and political debate. No major international court or body has officially declared the actions of Israel as genocide, though this issue remains deeply divisive, and interpretations vary depending on one's perspective in the conflict.

It's a sensitive and ongoing issue, and any determination of genocide would require significant legal proceedings and evidence regarding intent to destroy a population group which is clearly not happening.

Regarding genocide, one thing is certain: chanting "from the river to the sea" is a call for genocide.

A call for liberation is not equivalent to Israel’s active genocide.

In this case State of Israel is between the river and the sea. So yes it's a call for genocide of Israelis, just like in 1948 and 1936, and 1922 etc.

Liberation from Hamas in Gaza and liberation from Hezbollah in Lebanon, this one? Then,
    yes.
But what they want was never theirs, they themselves partly migrated for work during Ottomans from Arab countries, and partly occupiers from times of Salah Din.
Gaza was Egyptian when Israel took it. West bank was Jordan when Israel took it.
There was no Palestinian State ever.
Gaza became a temporary camp for Arabs of Palestine that followed the instructions of Arab armies in 1947, 1948 to leave so the Arab armies in 1948 can destroy Israel.
The Arab armies failed, and those who listened to them and left to the camps got stock there.
Those who didn't listen, are Israeli Arabs.
The occupation is a one big lie that invented by Soviets.
Soviet Russia, Creator of the PLO and Inventor of the Palestinian People.

This land of Israel was inhabited by Jews, Arabs and additional peoples, Armenians, Cherkas, etc,
Jews live there continually for more than 3000 years, all the time, sometimes in small numbers.

Land of Israel and also known by Roman given name-Syria Palestina (Geographical Area) had Jews, Christians, Muslims and others live there.

The West Bank and Gaza are not under anyone's thumb and in need of liberation. A fair criticism of Israel in this regard though is the fact that the far-right-wing Israelis keep illegally settling on West Bank land. They then sometimes shoot at Palestinians and the Israeli authorities rarely seem to stop them. These folks are generally closely associated with the ruling parties in charge of the current Israeli government.

Come on, don't be an idiot. The rest of that slogan is "...Palestine will be free". What do you think their plan is for the millions of Israelis who live between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean? Buy them plane tickets to Boca Raton?

What happened to the Palestinians who lived between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean before 1948?

Israeli Arabs, millions of them, citizens of Israel, with equal rights, protected by IDF.
Are Judges, School teachers, Police, Business owners, live in their own cities that nobody took away from them, Mayors, Can study in any University, 70% of Israel health System, Doctors, Nurses, etc are Israeli Arabs. They travel anywhere, they enjoy western Democracy and freedom of religion.
Obviously the conflict and wars take toll, it's not perfect.
And there were those who listened to the orders of Arab countries when they attacked Israel in 1948 and left to camps, they got stuck in those camps. One such camp was in Gaza.

As early as February 19, 1949, the Jordanian newspaper Palestine wrote: “The Arab states encouraged the Arabs of Palestine to leave their homes temporarily so they would not interfere with the Arab invasion forces.”

It is also worth asking what would have happened to the Jews of Palestine if the Arabs had won their war. The answer can be seen in the statements of Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Said: “We will blow up the land with our cannons and erase every remaining place the Jews take refuge. The Arabs must lead their wives and children to safe places until the end of the hostilities.” Arab League General Secretary Azzam Facha promised the Arab peoples that the conquest of Palestine would be a cakewalk. All the millions spent by the Jews on land and economic development would be easy plunder, he stated, because it would be a simple matter to throw the Jews into the Mediterranean.

The Jews of the Arab nations had no such intentions against their own countries, nor were they remotely capable of carrying them out if they had. They were small, peaceful communities, loyal to the ruling governments, and concerned with their own well-being and prosperity, much like the Jews of America today. They were not expelled because of anything they had done. They were expelled because they were Jews.

900,000 Jews were expelled from Arab countries, all their belongings confiscated. They lost everything. Many bitten, and abused.

Yes, as a specific example, as of a few days ago the toll from Israel bombs in Lebanon was just under 600. We don't know the ratio of civilians and combatants. In Israel it was 54, 27 were civilians and those civilians were arab.

Yes, in one instance, 12 Arab children killed by Hezbollah rocket that hit soccer field.
Iranian-made rocket fired from Lebanon hits Golan Arab Druze town Majdal Shams; dozens more wounded; officials signal response could be unprecedented.
The violence that started by Hezbollah.

Right now, 3 million Israelis are in bomb shelters, facing ballistic missiles fired from Yemen.
    1. Clearly, they missed the news from Beirut and the price of provoking Israel. 2. The media stays silent until Israel defends itself- then, it's called an escalation.
