Being a group that seems pretty dedicated to lifelong education I thought it'd be interesting to see how many college credits people here have accumulated over the years? After reading through the washout thread it seems that some people have tons with or without a degree. I'm sure I don't come close to some people but, I'll start. 215 total. 141 from BA, 38 from MEd, 32 from MS, and 4 from a single class I took at Harvard Extension School.
199 (and counting) 120 from my B.S.+AAS 36 from my MBA 30 from my M.S. 1 from an Ed.D. coursework 12 from my current Ph.D. coursework
120 My TESU BA accounts for all my credits, except for the duplicated credits I got from taking both the AP Literature & Composition and Language and Composition exams.
I hate loose credit, but ended up with extra credit galore. I had the misfortune of not getting any transfer credit from my culinary degree, and then a midlife crisis after my BA, so I have a lot of unused credit between my BA until I finished my MS. AOS Culinary - 87 AA TESU - 60 BA TESU- 62 HES grad credit - 8 Postbac Premed/ Prenursing sciences- 40 Stats prereq- 3 MS- 33 Edit to add: I don't intend on earning any additional credits or degrees beyond these. I have 3 kids earning degrees now and a 4th not far behind - they need all my cash.
89 credits Mesa College (transferred) 58 credits Western State College (graduated BA in History/Political Science) 27 credits Western State College (washed out of MA in Social Studies) 9 credits University of Colorado (washed out of MA in Mediaeval History) 61 credits City University (graduated MBA in Entrepreneurship and MBA in Marketing) 9 credits Faith Seminary (washed out of MDiv) 27 credits California State University Dominguez Hills (washed out of MA in Humanities) 9 credits American Military University (washed out of MA in Civil War Studies) I'm too tired and too lazy to do the math.
