It is normal human behavior to "try" to believe what one wants to believe. Since second grade I've strived to suppress this natural behavior. It was part of my goal of being a scientist. I'm saying that there is an extremely wide variance from individual to individual as to how under control people have been able to control this normal inclination. I think maybe I even posted about this on this forum. What I said was something along the lines that Biden is past his prime and can no longer debate. That he would still be a better President than Trump because debating is not really an important presidential skill when performing the job. Unlike Trump, Biden would listen to expert advice and make decisions based on what would be best for the country.
