Sec. Rubio has degenerated from merely disgusting to cringe worthy.

Sec Rubio is chastised by you for trying to do the right thing for Americans?
I can understand where you are coming from, your being critical of Pr. Trump and Elon M.
But Rubio is actually advocating to do the right thing under the circumstances.

I think Ribio will be a great candidate for President in the future.

LOL, no. Rubio is out there saying that things that are happening aren't actually happening. To add insult to injury, they made him acting administrator of USAID, with Musk's goons still in full control, feeding the woodchipper. So they are flushing down America's influence and good name, all in Liddle Marco's name.

Nope. They don't appreciate sellouts, even those who sold out to them. Ask Christie.

Time will show, I will be first to admit if I'm wrong. Rubio is saying official policy.
The shut down supposed to be for 90 days.

It is normal human behavior to "try" to believe what one wants to believe. Since second grade I've strived to suppress this natural behavior. It was part of my goal of being a scientist. I'm saying that there is an extremely wide variance from individual to individual as to how under control people have been able to control this normal inclination. For example, IMHO, Nosborne is extremely good at this, maybe even best in our little DegreeInfo forum population. I have to assume it is his years as a judge is part of the reason. I think Lerner is on the opposite end of the scale.

So I guess you dismissed Harris sayings in defense of Pr. Biden - that he is sharp and able, after the debate with Pr. Trump?
Or this "rule" applies only to GOP officials?

Lying is the the right thing for Americans? Are you serious?

I don't think Sec Rubio is lying.

I have zero clue how your post has anything to do with the post that you're responding to?

I think maybe I even posted about this on this forum. What I said was something along the lines that Biden is past his prime and can no longer debate. That he would still be a better President than Trump because debating is not really an important presidential skill when performing the job. Unlike Trump, Biden would listen to expert advice and make decisions based on what would be best for the country.

Thank you for clarifying that. Your positions are always based on logic and are untainted by emotion so I was beginning to wonder.

It's a kind of reverse Turing experiment. If a human being behaves exactly like a propaganda bot, can a user tell the difference?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Billionaire Elon Musk's role in the Trump administration is as a White House employee and senior adviser to the president, and is not an employee of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and has no decision-making authority, the White House said in a court filing on Monday.

According to a filing signed by Joshua Fisher, director of the Office of Administration at the White House, Musk can only advise the president and communicate the president's directives.

"Like other senior White House advisors, Mr Musk has no actual or formal authority to make government decisions himself," it said.
Fisher's filing, made in a case brought against Musk by the State of New Mexico, said that Musk was not an employee of the U.S. DOGE Service, or the U.S. DOGE Service Temporary Organization, and added: "Mr Musk is not the U.S. DOGE Service Administrator.""

At the discussion between Zelenskyy, Trump, and Vance today:

Rubio looks extremely upset in that picture. Based on his many many statements condemning the evil dictator Putin over many years in the past, my best guess is that he is NOT upset at Zelensky.

IMHO, Trump is doing a worse job as President than I could have imagined. That's saying a lot because I was expecting a very poor performance.

I'm amused by all the screaming headlines about how unpopular Trump is. He doesn't care. He will never run for public office again. He can screw over his Base and everyone else all he likes because he is a true "lame duck" and needs no one. Those foolish enough to become identified with this Administration will suffer for it.

Unfortunately, your warnings to Rubio have turned out to be extremely insightful.
