Hello, my name is Robert. I've joined this forum because I am seeking for some help :)

To be short, I am based in Romania and I want to graduate in US. I am still in high school.

I've been working as a web freelancer for some years, doing jobs for various clients, design and development. With my actual knowledge I can get a pretty well paid job at local web agencies, but I am also interested to get a bachelors degree because big agencies require more than high school, the problem is that here in Romania, I don't have where to take such courses (web design, web development) so, the question is, how can i come and study in US?

Can someone explain me the entire process, please?

    Thank you,
    Robert

Hi Robert - Because we are a distance learning discussion board we don't have a lot of conversations about residential study. However, I think you'll have a two part process. You'll have to be accepted into a US university and then you'll have to get a student visa. There are so many universities in the USA it's hard to even begin thinking about which school you might attend. It will depend on what subject area interests you, how much money you have and whether you'd like to live in a particular part of the country (the different parts are REALLY different). Also, your grades need to be good enough to be admitted into a university. Some schools have higher standards than others.

As for the student visa part, you can begin by reading all this stuff:

    Good luck.
