Naturopathy through Online Academies
Groupon is just marketing it.
It seems to be a British DL company called 'Online Academies'. They offer lots of DL diploma courses in a wide variety of subjects. It doesn't look to be university level and exams are multiple choice. Some of the courses have e-mail tutor support.
Many of the courses seem to be in vocational type subjects, but I'm a little doubtful about whether many of them really teach students enough to actually start a business and practice a vocation. They might help an employee learn a bit more about something they are already doing though, and they would certainly serve the a-vocational general interest market.
I have to say that I kind of like it. There are probably easier and cheaper ways to achieve the same result though, like checking a book out of the library.
I have to say, I kind of don't. Here's one reason why. https://www.onlineacademies.co.uk/details/398/womens-health-practitioner-diploma
A women's health practitioner, they say? After one £200 course? Now, what could possibly go wrong...?
