If they don't know what a phone booth is, then they haven't seen Goodfellas. If they haven't seen Goodfellas, then they need to run out to Blockbuster and rent it on tape before they come here expecting us to explain the ways of the past.

The elders spoke of a " Blockbuster" as well. Said something about Friday nights and an event called " entertainment "

Apparently, these "elders" had a very cruel idea of entertainment. But this is not unheard of in human history... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blockbuster_bomb

Not if it means you're more likely to donate.

We could print out 20 PhD diplomas for each of us. But I like being an utter failure better. ;)

Can someone print off a diploma in being an utter failure?
    I'd frame that.

I think this thread might be monitored, as I see a LinkedIn post from a certain school proprietor linking to the CHEA entry for those "reporting that they are unable to locate ECLBS on CHEA." That link goes here: European Council of Leading Business Schools | Council for Higher Education Accreditation in the International Directories part of CHEA's database. That database is described by CHEA as follows:

"This directory contains contact information about over 550 quality assurance bodies, accreditation bodies and Ministries of Education in over 170 countries. The quality assurance and accreditation bodies have been authorized to operate by their respective governments either as agencies of the government or as private (nongovernmental) organizations. The information has been obtained from the quality assurance or accreditation body or ministry of education. It has been reformatted by CHEA but otherwise not edited. The terminology used by the different organizations and governments is not standardized."

Reading between the lines, a private quality assurance organization could end up on this CHEA list while the organizations recognized by it have no degree-conferring authority or validity in their home countries. So we're back to, not a recognized school.

Regardless of any credible proof, it appears Graham will only convince himself that his organization is “legal” and therefore, accredited. Another poster on Degreeforum noted his expired 501c3 status which means he’s operating his nonprofit illegally for a while now… Yikes!

Luckily an expired c3 only means your tax exempt status is revoked, the actual incorporation is usually dependent on state laws and subject to a renewal period every few years.

The Frankie Graham Jr Foundation is still active in PA (entry 6552119)
https://file.dos.pa.gov/search/business but I don't see anything for the university in a quick look. (Though it could be under a different name or state.)
