Grad school and Excelsior GPA

Hey everyone! I have a question before applying to Excelsior.

    1. Since D's do not transfer into your undergrad degree at Excelsior, this raises your GPA. But if you are applying for grad school, won't they dig up your old grades anyway? So, isn't it pointless to choose Excelsior based on the fact that it raises your GPA? I have 3 D's from a former uni that I would like to get rid of...

TESC's BALS would be easier for me, but since they don't assign a GPA and will accept my D's, my 2.8 GPA will never rise...and I guess that's the GPA I'll have to give to employers. :(

Some grad schools want all your old transcripts and some want only the one from your degree. Few employers ask about GPA. It's something that just doesn't come up very often.

Unfortunately, I'm only 22 with little work experience, and people tell me that employers will ask for GPA at entry-level jobs. So, it presents a dilemma regarding my choice between TESC and EC.

I think I read that TESC will calculate your GPA but just not put it on your transcript. Since my current GPA is 2.8, how would TESC calculate my DSST exams I will be taking?

I would seriously recommend you taking cheap and easy classes to raise your gpa.

Like if you live in California for less than $30 per credit or from Clovis Community College 6 credits for $240. Central Community College also from NM is about $55 x credit for up to 6 credits. Or Global University $110 x credit. or up to 30 Penn Foster graded credits for $290 x class. Amen

I've been hiring people for years - entry level to professional level - and I've never asked for a GPA.
