Yes, you might want to look carefully at Bircham University's accreditation. The State of Oregon Office of Degree Authorization has done so, and has concluded that whatever accreditation Bircham University may have is unrecognized.

Interestingly, the founder of the school, Deric Bircham, claims no fewer than six earned doctorates (this does not include his bachelor's, master's, or honorary degrees):

- Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration with the thesis "Aspects of Management" from an unspecified institution

- Doctor of Science Degree with a thesis "Nerve Stimulation" from the Open International University for Complimentary Medicine in Sri Lanka

- Doctor of Medicine with his thesis being "Nerve Stimulation Therapeutics" from the Open International University for Complimentary Medicine Faculty of Medical Studies, Medicina Alternativa Institute in association with the with the Zoroastrian College in India

- Ph.D in Arts and Letters from California University, USA

- LL.D from Southern Eastern University (Founded 1899)

- J.D. from IUFS St. Petersburg, Russia

And that's not all; he is also official royalty on two different continents, which allows him to use the title of "Prince", as well as "Doctor":
