Just in case somebody wants to earn an AACSB Doctorate degree in Business Administration opposing US program tuitions. Some program requires low residencies. ESCP (École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris) Degree: Executive Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Tuition: €93,600 Accreditation: AACSB, EFMD, AMBA Montpellier Business School Degree: Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Tuition: €33,000 Accreditation: AACSB, EFMD, AMBA Burgundy School of Business Degree: Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Tuition: €35,000 Accreditation: AACSB, EFMD, AMBA Grenoble Ecole de Management Degree: Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Tuition: €55,000 France / $66,000 USA Accreditation: AACSB, EFMD, AMBA TBS Education formerly Toulouse Business School and Groupe ESC Toulouse (École supérieure de Commerce de Toulouse) Degree: Executive Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Tuition: €30,400 Accreditation: AACSB, EFMD, AMBA ICN Business School Degree: Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Tuition: €27,500 Accreditation: AACSB, EFMD, AMBA Paris School of Business (Formerly ESG MS - Ecole Supérieure de Gestion et Management School ) Degree: Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Tuition: €35,450 Accreditation: AACSB, EFMD, AMBA Ecole Supérieure de Gestion et Commerce International (ESGCI) // Paris School of Business' Sister School Degree: Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Tuition: $10,000 Accreditation: IACBE and ACBSP Members, through Through UpGrad International School of Management (ISM) Degree: Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Tuition: $84,562 Accreditation: IACBE
That is correct, I just threw it in there because it has a good price, other university collaborations, and its sister school is legit. Who knows, ESGCI might get accreditation like ESGMS/Paris School of Business.
Your testimony is enough for me to believe that it's a real program. But the usual warning "make sure a credential will meet your present and future needs" always applies, and this program might not meet everyone's. Consider that UpGrad goes out of their way to show that WES Canada will positively evaluate the DBA from Golden Gate University that they manage, but they're silent on this program. So for things like immigration points or being competitive for a tenure track position I probably wouldn't consider this, but for a working professional who wants a capstone credential, I might.
Technically an AACSB accredited Doctorate can make you eligible for a tenure track position but there is always a bias against a DBA or executive PhD for academic positions. However, I think they can still make a good option for people looking for full positions at teaching colleges or universities or academic administrative positions. There is also the adjunct path but it pays so low nowadays that it is hard to justify the investment and effort for only this.
