Just wondering if someone has a first hand experience with MLS in Information Assurance offered by FHS.

What are taught in 10-hour core curriculum related to liberal studies? Does each course consist of 3 hours???

The answer to the first question can be found here by selecting An overview of the MLS curriculum...

Tarbuza,
I spent about 4 classes in the MLS program at Fort Hays, the core classes were 10 hrs total. One class was 1 credit hr. the rest were 3 credit hr. classes.

Most classes were ok ( History), however I got a real spooky feeling about the program when I was in one of those "core" classes, the instructor was good for about a week then fell off the earth; after countless emails, nothing. When he did show up he graded all the work in the last two weeks of class, everyone was fuming over it.

I contacted the "administration" about the whole affair and they reacted by circling the wagons around the clown... he's still teaching there. I found his stats on the faculty site one day, one of his personal activities was weight lifting. That was a fine "How do you do" The buffoon could lift weights but didnt have enough strength to push a mouse around every now and then....lazy sob... maybe that explains the long absence and the penchant for pumping iron; prison yard.

Go to Myprofessor.com and look at the general ratings about the faculty.

I had two prof's that were pretty good out of those two, one was great, he was the History Department chair, has has since left Fort Hays..on to better pastures...I didnt want to hang around for the train wreck.

Pull up some of the earlier posts about fhsu. caveat emptor.

Thanks

Thanks for info. It doesn't sound positive.

Can one transfer credit in this program? If yes, is there a limit?
