When the "other" forum upgraded a few months back, we had to go into our preferences and "turn on" some of the features we wanted to use. For instance, I remember having to turn on the ability to see other's signatures. One thing I can't figure out since the upgrade here is how to see the number of posts attached to a member's id. I can see it in their profile, but I mean in a regular thread by their username/avatar. Where is post count? Perhaps it's gone? Perhaps I have to turn it on? Help.
It should be a pretty simple configuration tweak, and should be global for all members. I'll ask our engineer to take care of it.

It was an alert in the top right corner. It looks like how we used to get alerted to private messages, but in this new platform you can get alerts for EVERYTHING. I've since turned it off, but what happens if I page you? @decimon
I don't know why my old avatar is now so distorted, but I threw this one together just to get that thing away from everyone's eyes. This here is the M from Metroid and the C from Contra, two of my favorite video games. When I have some more time, possibly later this week, I'll come up with something better than this lazy thing.
Alright, so this is what I've come up with. It's somewhat blurry and oddly stretched due to whatever compression distortion this platform performs automatically, but overall I'm very happy with it. For reference, take a look at 1) The NES Metroid title screen and 2) The NES Contra title screen
