It becomes remarkably difficult for mediation if one side continues to try and kill the opposing party and mediators.

True, I can't feel sorry for Hamas though. The Hamas leaders should all be dead.

It was really stupid for Israel to strike in Qatar though. It apparently really pissed off Trump. Which is really bad for Israel. Qatar is a good ally of ours. Trump wrote a scathing post on his stupid Truth Social. Trump always seems to turn against all his friends. Well except his dictator friends. The point I'm making is that it is very possible that Trump could turn against Netanyahu and Israel.

I don’t think the mediators themselves are the target, even though they host Hamas leaders in luxury hotels. Also, many Gazans who are aware of the situation likely don’t sympathize with the Hamas leadership if they were taken out in such an attack. The only intended targets are the opposing party—the terrorist Hamas leadership.

It often takes months to confirm the identities and number of arch-terrorists killed. Hamas has claimed about five casualties, including the son of a leader, but the full details remain unclear. Meanwhile, Israel is continuing airstrikes in Syria targeting new weapon supplies coming from Turkey, which has angered Erdoğan.

Gaza City is under heavy bombardment, with terrorist towers containing surveillance equipment, snipers, and weapon stockpiles—including RPGs—being destroyed. Israel’s arsenal is substantial, and the conflict is increasingly severe.

Things are escalating toward apocalyptic proportions. Reports are coming that Israel readies it nukes. It's demonstrated by accelerated work that is taking place in Dimona.

Maybe. They have to at least pretend to be displeased, but they wouldn't shed a tear if the Israelis had taken out Hamas's leadership.

Here a retired IDF leader seems to admit that the Gaza casualty figures put out by Hamas are accurate.

‘We took the gloves off’: ex-IDF chief confirms Gaza casualties over 200,000
    quote:
Halevi stepped down as chief of staff in March after leading the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for the first 17 months of the war, which is now approaching its second anniversary.
The retired general told a community meeting in southern Israel earlier this week that more than 10% of Gaza’s 2.2 million population had been killed or injured – “more than 200,000 people”. That estimate is notable as it is close to the current figures provided by Gaza’s health ministry, which Israeli officials have frequently dismissed as Hamas propaganda, though the ministry figures have been deemed reliable by international humanitarian agencies.

The current official toll is 64,718 Palestinians killed in Gaza and 163,859 injured, since the start of the war on 7 October 2023. Many thousands more are feared dead, with their bodies buried in the rubble.

The interpretation that Halevi "admits" Hamas propaganda may be a simplification.
He acknowledges a casualty scale comparable to Hamas’s reported figures, but does not necessarily endorse all data nuances or Hamas narratives.
It is a complex issue where data verification, political context, and definition of casualties (killed plus injured, civilians versus combatants) all matter.
But 10% + is a catastrophic humanitarian toll.
Such a calamity Hamas brought on Gaza.

Seems little different to me. His figure pretty much matches the Hamas figure.

According to my count there have now been 14 groups, committees, organizations that believe Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. It's very sad. Netanyahu needs to be put in jail.

Israel has committed genocide in Gaza, UN commission of inquiry says

    T
You mean providing advanced notice and allowing to evacuate, I don't recall Hamas doing that.
Your statement is far from the truth.
Hamas is using civilians as human shields.
As to UN, they use Hamas data, just like in the past.
Israel is not targeting civilians, and there is no intent to shot at civilians.
Hamas Terrorists is the only target.

IDF is targeting Hamas terrorists and fighting this evil Gazan military. IDF warns and allows civilians to evacuate.
US and allies bombed Berline, Germany Nazi Army not deliberately targeting civilians.
So when you are calling formenr IDF as Hamas, you are also calling US, Brits and allies in WW2 - Hamas.

I guess this is saying that it is okay for Israel to act like murdering terrorists since others have acted that way against Jews? If so I don't agree. I think Israel should act like a modern civilized honorable country not an evil bad terrorist country.
