Next week: Knesset debate on the death penalty law for terrorists
Chairman of the National Security Committee, MK Zvika Fogel, will hold a hearing next week in the Death Penalty Law for Terrorists to promote the initiative of MK Limor Sun “The death penalty for terrorists is what every terrorist who goes out to murder Jews deserves.”

This is after a Palestinian Terrorist attack in Jerusalem, shooting at Bus -
The Palestinian terrorists came from a village 14 KM from Jerusalem.

So far, it is known that five people have been murdered and about 22 others have been injured in the Jerusalem shooting attack.
Seven of the injured are in serious condition, and the rest are in moderate and light condition,
with one of the injured in an advanced pregnancy in the eighth month. The police said the two terrorists were neutralized, and the access routes to the area were closed while the police were operating at the scene.
The attack took place around 10:00 a.m., when the first report was about shooting . Residents' testimonies indicate that the two terrorists apparently tried to get on the bus on line 62, but the driver who identified them as suspects did not allow them to go up - and they opened fire at the passengers. During the shooting, an armed soldier who was on the bus managed to neutralize one of them. The two terrorists are apparently residents of the Palestinian Authority’s village near the Abu Ghosh area.
This is the cycle of violence that is 100 years old, each side retaliates.

How about we feed the starving Gazans.

That would interfere with the Netanyahu and Smotich stated goal of getting the Gazans out of Gaza and annexation of Gaza. And then maybe even Trump’s stated goal of a Gazan Rivera.

It’s a simple case of the end justifying the means. They picture a far better Middle East but the road getting there will unfortunately require bulldozing dead bodies. But the dead bodies will be Palestinians. So that’s not so bad.

It’s a similar rationale that Adolf Hitler had. Although some might argue Netanyahu has to do it because Hamas attacked first and Hamas is the one killing the Palestinians. Also Hamas is tricking the world and manipulating the whole world to make Netanyahu look bad.

There are many, majority Israelis against it.
But also there are those - minority who think that what Pali's wish to-do with Israel should be done to Gaza, Gaza terrorists (70% of Gaza) exiled.
And as Bill mentioned, they think it should be annexed with most of Judea and Samaria.

One major difference, Jews in Germany and Europe didn't want to destroy Germany, but Pali's- want to destroy the Jews and later state of Israel since beginning of 20th century and before.
Hamas needs to capitulate like Nazis did in 1945, the wear will end.

The supreme court and numerous NGOs say Israel is restricting food.

There are those in Israel, that think they should not feed the enemy, again it's minority, but the restrictions in reality on the ground were all related to security and the need not to supply the enemy i.e Hamas etc.

Those are war crimes, I don't care how people spin it. Even Israel's highest court is calling it out now.

Not exactly, the Israeli court ruling was about Palestinians in Israeli jails. Israel is starving the Palestinians in jail. Or, at least they were.

Netanyahu is committing war crimes by creating famine in Gaza. Genocide is a war crime and involves intentional killing. All of these groups (over one dozen!!) say that genocide is occurring in Gaza.

    United Nations officials and committees
    • Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory: In May 2024, a UN-backed commission reported that Israel's military operation in Gaza displayed a genocidal intent against the Palestinian people. The commission cited the scale of death and destruction, stating there were reasonable grounds to believe that genocidal acts had been committed.
    • UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories: Francesca Albanese's report, "Anatomy of a Genocide," found reasonable grounds to believe Israel had committed several acts of genocide in Gaza.
    • UN Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Practices: As early as November 2024, this committee found Israel's "warfare methods consistent with genocide".
    • UN human rights experts: In May 2025, a group of UN experts explicitly stated that Israel's campaign showed an "intent to wield starvation as a weapon of war" and called for an end to the "unfolding genocide" in Gaza.
    • Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR): A November 2024 report by the OHCHR warned that the extreme violence in Gaza could amount to "atrocity crimes," including genocide.
    International judicial bodies
    • International Court of Justice (ICJ): In December 2023, South Africa filed a case against Israel alleging violations of the 1948 Genocide Convention. In January 2024, the ICJ ordered Israel to take all measures to prevent genocidal acts in Gaza, finding plausible evidence to proceed with the case.
    • International Criminal Court (ICC): In November 2024, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, though the warrants were for war crimes and crimes against humanity, not genocide. The ICC prosecutor has, however, stated that the court retains a mandate to investigate potential genocide as part of its wider investigation.
    Humanitarian and human rights organizations
    • Amnesty International: The human rights group has extensively documented Israel's actions in Gaza and has referred to the potential for genocidal acts, including Israel's use of starvation as a weapon of war. Amnesty has also declared that Israel's system of oppression and domination of Palestinians amounts to apartheid.
    • Human Rights Watch: The organization reported in December 2024 that Israel is committing the "crime of extermination" and "acts of genocide" in Gaza. It cited Israel's deprivation of water for Palestinians as one of the genocidal acts. Human Rights Watch has also previously labeled Israel's treatment of Palestinians as the crimes against humanity of apartheid and persecution.
    • Physicians for Human Rights–Israel (PHRI): This Israeli human rights group is one of several local organizations that have accused Israel of committing genocidal acts in Gaza, specifically through the dismantling of health and life-sustaining systems.
    • Oxfam: Alongside Human Rights Watch, Oxfam has concluded that Israel's policies of restricting aid and starving civilians amount to a war crime.
    Academic and expert organizations
    • International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS): In September 2025, the IAGS, a leading academic body on genocide, passed a resolution stating that Israel's actions in Gaza meet the legal definition of genocide.
    • B'Tselem: This Israeli human rights organization has accused its own government of committing genocide in Gaza.

I understand what you are saying but, I think that people in Israel, realize that the enemy needs to be destroyed if they are to survive. And the biased so called war crimes that are rejected by Israel become secondary. Survival first.
So Demona nuke facility is now working overtime, because there is a possibility of Yemen, Iran using chemical weapons, Israel may nuke Yemen and Iran.
Not sure what it will achieve, but everything is possible in the Middle East.
As to ICC the alleged sex offender is biased against Israel, and war crimes allegations are rejected due to circumstances.
When some understand the difference between peaceful European Jews and Nazis in1930s and 1940s and their friend Mufti of Jerusalem, vs blood trusty Jihadisms they will get it.
I think for now, the survival is more important than some accusations, Israeli Gov list of priorities is clear.
US Admin is making another push to end the war diplomaticlly, maybe it will work this time?
    Some progress was made.

The Mufti was a passionate anti-Semitic figure who actively sought ties with Nazi Germany from early in Hitler's chancellorship. Throughout the war, he cooperated with the Nazis, serving in intelligence and propaganda roles and advising Muslim Waffen-SS units. He also urged Axis powers to prevent Jewish immigration and to send Jews to extermination sites like Poland rather than allowing them to escape.
After the war, the Mufti escaped trial and lived in Lebanon and Egypt until his death in 1974.
He inspired later Arab nationalist and Islamist leaders, but is also infamous for his wartime actions supporting Nazi anti-Semitism and the Holocaust.
During their 95-minute November 28, 1941 meeting, Hitler disclosed to al-Husseini his plans for the extermination of Jews across Europe, the Middle East, and globally. Hitler promised to support the elimination of the Jewish presence in Arab lands once German forces approached these regions.

Hamas is no longer a threat. At least this is the belief of hundreds of experts. In August 2025, a group of approximately 600 former Israeli security officials, including ex-heads of the Mossad and Shin Bet, sent a letter to U.S. President Donald Trump urging him to pressure Israel to end the war.

Hundreds of Israeli ex-officials appeal to Trump to help end Gaza war

Netanyahu and Smotich want to continue the war to eliminate Palestinians in Gaza and annex Gaza. The talk about Hamas still being a big threat etc. is just the lie being pushed by Netanyahu in order to continue the war and possibly annex Gaza.

Islamic Jihad managed to fire two rockets at Israel Southern border cities. Now this is a fact.
In my opinion based on what I read in the statements from Israeli leadership, as long as Hamas or a like can do it, the current Israeli gov will not stop the war.
Israel is ready to end the war once it demands accepted. No annexation, but actually peaceful coexistence with security arrangements.
But in parallel, the US government is negotiating and making serious effort to end the war.

Israel agreed to US proposed plan that may end the war in Gaza according to FM Gideon Saar.
Hamas is reviewing, agreed to immediate negotiations but can't commit to being able to release all hostages alive in a first day of ceasefire.

LONDON, Sept 9 (Reuters) - Britain, Israel is not committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza despite appalling civilian suffering, according to a government letter.
Israel has been widely accused of the crime, including by the world's biggest group of genocide scholars, over its nearly two-year campaign in the Palestinian enclave that has killed more than 64,000 people according to local authorities.

Unfortunately, it looks like the bad guys weren't killed.

The bad part of the story is that Arab countries are not pleased.

My fear is that Netanyahu did this because he wants to continue the war. He wants to get rid of the Palestinians in Gaza and annex Gaza. As a bonus, his trial will be further delayed.
