Article goes on to quote her as saying she made a "terrible error” in judgment.

Seems like a lot of "errors in judgment" are just a matter of a person being a full boat liar and dirtbag. In my personal opinion, an error in judgment is when you make the edgy joke at the office party that goes over like a lead balloon and you lose the promotion. That's stupid. An error in judgment is when you feel like an idiot having made that groaner joke, then have one drink too many at that office party, then think you can make it the 15 blocks home in the car and plow it into a street sign. That's very bad judgment, dangerous, horrible form, selfish behavior. But still, it's plain old bad judgment.

What this lady did was not bad judgment, it's a sign that she has a massive, catastrophic problem and is possibly a sociopath or a pathological liar and at the end of the day is only sorry that she got caught.
