Education for the Healthcare Executive

    NorCal has made some good points. My last comment about slippery social skills may have been poorly expressed. What I was jokingly trying to say is that, in my observation, the higher up the ladder you go the more important it is to be able to interact with diverse peoples. Today you are addressing a group of welders, tomorrow a group of suits. The next day you are with a bunch of true believers and the next you're trying to win over a bunch of skeptics. Not everyone can do this and, as far as I know, there's not a single degree program that teaches these skills. In my experience, either you've got it or you don't.
