I noticed on the Edinburgh Business School site that they now have over 200 in their DBA program. http://www.ebsglobal.net/information/pages/prospectivestudents/misc/latestnews.html#dbasuccess “The DBA programme continues to flourish. Since its launch in 2002, over 200 students have enrolled and are progressing with their coursework; meanwhile, the first cohort of students is embarking on the mentoring and supervision stages. About half of the DBA students are EBS graduates, indicating the wide appeal of the programme. New DBA courses now available or soon to be available include Corporate Governance and Leadership. (Published on 7 December 2005)” There were a few in the group that were considering it when it started in 2002, and we used to get updates from Professor Kennedy. Is anyone in the program now?
Is anyone in the program now? I am interested in the insights and experiences of those who are in the Edinburgh DBA. Hopefully members on the board who are in the program will share their experiences with us. I do miss the posts from Prof Kennedy - apparently he retired from DI also.
Have you checked out Henley Management College? Honestly, a DBA from Henley would be much more marketable in the US and internationally. Their business grad programs are AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS accredited. One of the few schools in the world with TRIPLE professional accreditation. I'm actually thinking about applying to their MBA programs. http://www.henley.dk/grab.htm?/Content/1/1.1.1.7.htm
