Has anyone heard about this new university? EC Council and its ethical hacking certifications are well known, but i never knew they have a university as well. It is based out of Albuquerque, NM and says that they are licensed by New Mexico Higher Education Department as a degree granting institution. Any thoughts... Sathya
I find the program interesting in that it's based around the EC-Council certs. The University just started taking students. It's unproven, unaccredited, and has had to move states once already (WY started requiring accreditation and EC-Council couldn't get accreditation since it hadn't yet had any classes). The school also seems expensive unless you test out of every single course, and even if you did test out of all of them it still seems expensive compared to various accredited IT programs. It's a program I'd personally keep an eye on to see how it does but I wouldn't touch it myself unless the price came down and they obtained accreditation.
